An ambitious sci-fi Tsarist space opera RPG, The Mandate is the debut project from Perihelion Interactive. Dead Good handled the international PR for the two-month Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the game for PC, Mac and Linux platforms.
Dead Good worked with Perihelion to create a campaign plan that focused on key game announcements, creative ideas to gain draw attention to the campaign and secured The Mandate a 1 hour presentation slot on the Game Stage at the MCM Comic Con London, the UK's biggest comic and sci-fi convention.
Contrast - a stylish 2D/3D platforming game with a sophisticated soundtrack
Critically acclaimed after its appearances at E3 and Gamescom, Contrast is developed by Compulsion Games and published by Focus Home Interactive.
With its mesmerising blend of 1920s film noir visuals and jazz soundtrack Dead Good was delighted to handle the UK PR for this stunning 2D/3D platforming hybrid on the run up to its launch in November 2013.
GTA* - the biggest game of the year - comes to home console
*Gran Tractor Action (more commonly known as Farming Simulator) was a critical and commercial success on PC formats, and Dead Good was commissioned to provide the UK PR for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 retail releases.
Coverage highlights included a gameplay livestream from Eurogamer; a video featurette from Outside Xbox on the Farming Simulator phenomenon; a series of tongue-in-cheek Let's Play video featurettes from God is a Geek (part 1, part 2); and additional hits from Official Xbox Magazine, HeyUGuys, Connected Digital World, Mature Gaming, Muse Culture and Gamercast.
Tour de France game pedals its way to mainstream coverage
Focus Home Interactive released the official Tour de France - 100th Edition video game prior to the launch of the world-famous cycling competition.
Dead Good hit the road, demoing the game to key cycling and sport publications and providing them with hands-on opportunities. As a result, we secured breakout mainstream media coverage in the form of full-page previews in Sport magazine and the Tour de France special issue of Cycling Weekly.
